The Dress
1961 Classic, vintage, full-skirt ballgown with chapel train. Strapless, satin bodice overlaid with delicate lace that continues to the 3/4 length sleeves. Lace has tiny beads and sequins. Waist has a cumberbund. The skirt is satin with a lace panel in front. This dress was only worn once by my mother in 1961 and then cleaned and heirloomed. It was removed from the box once (I wanted to wear it for my own wedding, but it didn't fit!). Overall, the gown is in very good condition, however the color of some of the tiny pearl beading around the neckline has faded (shown in photo). Size is approximately a 6, though it was likely custom-fitted.
